The Mission of Environmental Justice

This week the CLEnagers are joined by David Wilson and SeMia Bray from the Black Environmental Leaders Association. In the first part to this series, David and SeMia discuss why they are involved in Environmental Justice and what it means to them. They discuss how environmentalism is connected in roots to social movements, history, and the severity of the current environmental climate. They call to action for the youth to lead.

Climate Change and Food Deserts

The conversation continues with David Wilson and SeMia Bray. The discussion on how data points are real people happens along with Ohio Voices Informing Energy Choices. SeMia gives an analogy for Climate Change to help people understand it better and then David and SeMia discuss Food Deserts in Cleveland and what The Black Environmental Leaders is doing about it.

Environmental Motivation and Clean Water

The final part of the interview with SeMia Bray and David Wilson. They discuss what motivates them to continue fighting for Environmental Justice, clean water along with legislation passing to improve clean water, and SeMia and David ask the CLEnagers some questions as well.
